The family of an 11-year-old girl that was killed in a slang event In Florida, the child’s courage and sacrifice in the wake of tragedy withdrew.
In an interview with NBC Affiliate WJHGKristine Robinson, the mother of the daughters Laila, 8, and Brylee, 9, praised the girls’ late cousin Jordan Roe, 11.
“Jordan has always been the protection of all children, as if you can’t tell her no different,” Robinson told the local outlet. “Jordan sacrificed her life and she saved her cousin’s life with her life. And that’s all she knew what to do. She has always been the protection of her family of all the children, and I really think she saved cousin’s life.”
A Jetski drew a tube with Jordan, Laila and Brye on June 17 in Hawthorne, Florida, when the incident occurred, according to Robinson and the authorities.
“Tuesday, June 17, along with Putnam County Sheriff’s Office, replied Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) officials on a reported boat event in Putnam County who involved a tube towed by a personal watercraft,” said Florida Florida.
According to officials “two young people were injured in the incident, and tragically, they have passed away.”
With reference to Putnam County Sheriff’s Office, ABC Affiliate WCJB Reported that the incident occurred at Star Lake when the pipe reportedly collided with a bridge when it was pulled by Jetski.
“FWC extends its heartfelt condolences to the family affected by this devastating event,” the agency continued.
The authorities added that no further information is available because the situation remains “an active investigation.”
People were enough for Robinson and Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission for further comments on Thursday, June 26.
Robinson, who was at a Nicu in Tampa and took care of his micro-premium-Baby, told WJHG that the girls had fun on a family grill when the school had finished for the year.
“They were on the tube and had a fantastic time,” she said.
The incident seriously injured Laila, with upcoming operations, Robinson said. Bryee suffered a pair of bruises.
Robinson established one Gofundme on behalf of Jordan’s family. She wrote in the collection description that the girl was a straight student and strived to become a surgeon or veterinarian.
“Jordan died when she was alive – protected her family,” Robinson said. “Even in her passing, she gave life’s gift to others through organ donation, fulfilled her desire to give hope and smiles to those in need. Jordan’s memory will live on in the lives she touched, both in our family and thereafter.”

“She was a free spirit, wise beyond her years and always made sure everyone around her felt safe and loved,” Robinson continued. “Our only comfort is knowing that she is safe with God and Jesus, because her faith was an important part of her life.”
Robinson organized another Gofundme To raise money for her daughter Laila’s transport when she handles her injuries.
“I just ask everyone, keep your children tight,” Robinson told WJHG, leaving, “We all want fun with our children. Be careful.”
