According to reports from Daily mail and Kent onlineThe 3-year-old Bunnie Skinley, her father Rowen Skinley and her two siblings went home in the afternoon Tuesday, June 17 in Rainham, Kent, when a dog suddenly a bit of Bunnie on her arm and tore her skin open.

The incident took place on the city’s Mierscourt Road, just outside an elementary school around 15:30 local time, after the children were taken from the school, according to the stores.

“It happened in parallel to the school on the main road,” Dad Rowen recalled the incident to Kent Online. “I just went home after school. The road is pretty narrow and a woman walked her dog on the road itself.”

“Then nowhere, the dog just lunged for my daughter and pulled her on the floor,” he continued. “The owner managed to pull off the dog, but when she made it ripped it (bunnies) skin open.”

The Rowen said he quickly splashed into action and kept his daughter’s skin in place to stop the bleeding, as witnesses nearby approached to help.

“People who saw what happened came and said that my daughter had not even put his hand out to the dog,” he told Kent online. “The woman just disappeared – she left no details or anything.”

According to the stores, witnesses reported that the dog was one Cockapoo -A crossing between a cocker spaniel and a poodle, which is usually considered safe, family -friendly dogs, per petmd.

Kent Police did not immediately respond to people’s request for further information on Saturday 21 June.

Bunnie is now recovering after plastic surgery on the arm-a procedure that her father said was made even more risky due to the 3-year-old’s lung condition and severe asthma.

“She is doing well now, she is just a little shaken and continues to talk about how scared she is by the dog,” Rowen told Kent Online.
