An earlier NFL star has been accused of driving under influence after being involved in a deadly motorcycle crash.
According to the Richardson Police Department, located in the suburbs of Dallas, Kelvin Joseph Jr., a 25-year-old Cornerback in the United Football League (UFL) and former Dallas Cowboys player, was arrested, shortly after 05:30 local time on Saturday, June 7 after a crash at Statens US-75
Police said in a statement shared on social media That they examined a deadly crash that killed a motorcyclist around 04:50 at the 2400 block on the highway when Richardson called Plano Police Department and told them he had been involved.
“Richardson Police Department managers contacted Joseph and decided that he was north on North Central Expressway in a BMW -since when he was involved in a collision with the motorcycle,” police said in the statement. “When they talked to Joseph observed officers’ signs of intoxication.”

According to the police department, a 27-year-old female motorcycle driver, identified as Cody Morris in Plano, Texas, was killed in the accident.
No other cars or people were found at the site of the crash, police added.
Joseph was booked in prison in the Richardson police department at about 07:45, according to Dallas Morning News. He has been accused of driving while he was drunk, a wrongdoing, and collision involving death, a crime. His bond has not yet been set per prison.
Joseph is currently playing for the DC defenders. Hörnbacken was prepared during the second round of the 2021 NFL draft of Dallas Cowboys and played with the team until 2023. During his NFL career he also played for Miami Dolphins, Seattle Seahawks and Indianapolis Colts. He was also in the exercise group for Kansas City Chiefs and Minnesota Vikings.

In March 2022, Joseph was involved in an incident in the Dallas area where he was identified as one of two passengers in a vehicle from which shots were dismissed that killed a 20-year-old man, according to ESPN.
The police found that Joseph was not the shooter in that case, according to ESPN.
NFL did not interrupt Joseph for his involvement in the event. He showed up in 26 matches for cowboys until his Dallas -Stint ended before the 2023 season. The Cowboys traded Joseph to the dolphins in August 2023.
The DC defenders are scheduled to play St. Louis Battlehawks in UFL’s conference championship game on Sunday June 8th.
