Fla. Boy, 4, shoots deadly after finding a gun in the parents’ car: Police

A 4-year-old Florida boy died after accidentally shot himself with a gun that he is alleged to have found under a car seat.

Police in Davenport, Fla., Say that the boy, identified as the selected Morris, died when the family was about to leave the house with his family, according to reports from WflaThe Fox 13 and WFTV.

With reference to the police, WFLA reported that Chosen’s family was ready to go out for pizza when he excited entered the car before his family. The outlet reported that the boy’s mother was on her computer when she heard a pop.

After discovering her other two children in the living room with headphones on, she went out to the garage and saw that the door was open, the outlet reported.

Inside the car, Chosen’s mother found him in the driver’s seat with a gunshot injury on his head, police said, reported Wfla and Fox 13.

The police said the boy discovered a gun under the driver’s seat, the stores reported.

The elected was reportedly taken to the hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
