Fishermen pull dead body out of the water outside Massachusetts Coast

A group of fishermen who worked near the Massachusett’s coast caught a dead body as they pulled fish from the sea.

Suffolk County District Attorney’s Office confirmed to people that a fishing vessel worked about 40 miles off the Boston coast on Friday, March 7, when its crew found the body of an unidentified person.

A source that spoke to TMZwhich was the first to report the news, said that the individuals aboard the ship pulled their fishing nets up early in the morning and were surprised that it was particularly heavy.

When they had opened the net and started loosening fish, they discovered the broken body inside. Massachusetts State Police was the first to respond.

“The body, which was wrapped and in a state of degradation, is now in the office for the highest medical examiner for autopsy purposes. No further information is currently available,” said DA’s office to People.

A photo obtained by TMZ shows the body covered with debris from the sea and some clothes remain, as it was wrapped in a blue tarp.

DA’s office also told the outlet that they are aware of the incident, but have not been able to confirm the name, age or gender of the deceased. It is also not known how the individual died.

On the question of investigators, the case is dealing with a potential murder, the office said to TMZ: “No conclusions at this time. The office of the highest medical examiner conducts an autopsy. It can help give any answers.”

People were enough for the Coast Guard for further information but did not immediately receive an answer.
