Finn Wolfhard saw Norman Osborn when he worked with Willem Dafoe (exclusive)

Finn Wolfhard Loved to work with Willem Dafoe on their new film, The legend of and in – But he initially could not distinguish the actor from one of his most iconic roles.

“The first few days it was difficult not to see Norman Osborn,” says Wolfhard, 22, people in an exclusive interview, with reference to Dafoe’s depiction of the fan favorite The spider villain.

Wolfhard and Dafoe are now recording The legend of and in – An A24 movie that follows a young girl (Helena Zengel) who goes on an adventure to return a young forest creature, which she had learned to fear, to her family.

Continued to reflect on his time to work with Dafoe, Wolfhard says that there was “definitely” a thing that stood out about the actor – “his voice.”

“When I would hear his voice I would be like,” Oh, my God! He is real, “he explains with a laugh.” He is in every movie of all time, and his voice is so iconic, and his spectacle is so legendary. ”

The Stranger Things Star adds that the work with Oscar -Nominated “never really disappeared, honestly.”

Wolfhard tells people that he could also get some Sage career councils from the performed actor.

“I had many amazing conversations with him, and I asked him how it was like a theater actor in New York in the 70s and 80s. It was really cool to choose his brain about it,” he says.

Wolfhard – whose direction debut, Hell on a summerAm also currently in theaters – continuing, “I really got to look at him, and by looking at him I feel that I learned a lot about spectacle and the craft of acting. … He has just always been someone who I think is just in the art.”
