The Livingston family was on their way to Washington, DC, from Wichita, can., In the evening on Wednesday, January 29, when an American Airlines regional passenger plane was beaten Midair of an American Army Black Hawk Helicopter near Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport. The tragic collision had No survivors And is the deadliest aircraft event in the United States since 2001.

Everly, 14, and Alydia, 11, were sisters who competed with Washington Figure Skating Club and participated in a Kansas competition. Their parents, Donna and Peter, went with them at the event.

On Friday, January 31, Peter’s friend Ted Boyke tells people exclusively that his late friend “put his family first” and that Donna and his daughters were “everything for him.”
Boeke, who had known Peter since high school, says that he and his friend were “lifelong friends.”
“Pete was a guy who is passionate about ice skating or to transfer it to his daughters. He was the kind of guy who would come with a wild plan and you would say, “It sounds good, but it will never happen.” And then he would go out and achieve it, “Booke, 48, reminds his friend.

Boeke tells people that when Everly was born, Peter talked “about building an ice rink in the garden and getting her skating.”
“I thought,” it’s incredible, but it will never work. How can you get an ice rink in your garden? “Booke is reminiscent of. “He didn’t just do it … but then his daughters continued Elite bowl. ”
Boeke reveals that Peter, also an avid hockey player, called The Rink The Livingston Ice Rink.
“He was known for every winter (too) to put down a tarp, board it, pour water in an ice rink that would freeze in Virginia Winters, and his daughters would practice there,” says Boyke. “During Covid, they could practice that way when the ice rinks were temporarily closed.”

Peter loved to be a real estate agent because it allowed him flexible hours so that “he could be there to help his daughters train in ice skating (and) take them to meetings and competitions,” says Boyke.
“He put them first. He was really passionate about it and for their enjoyment of ice skating, ”adds Boyke. “What I’m trying to take from this tragic loss is that if you have a wild dream or if you are passionate about something in life just go for it.”
“That’s what Pete did, and that’s the example I want to follow,” he says.
