The family of a 23-year-old Maryland man who was found dead when he holiday in the Bahamas talks about the case, because they claim he was killed, despite the authority’s decision that his death was from drowning.
The relatives of Dinari Mcalmont, including his mother and aunt, have turned to social media to ask for “international help”, as they claim they have not been allowed to see his body in Morgue after his death on April 5.
Marcelle Bacchus, Dinari’s aunt, wrote in a Facebook post On Friday, April 11, that his body was not released to the funeral salon a day before because the Bårhuset spelled wrong.
“My sister is so frustrated. She has not seen her son yet,” Bacchus wrote, leaving that cameras were not allowed in the mortgage and that the Dinari family’s fear will be lost.

“No cameras were allowed in (Morgue). The police did not even share a picture in public. No camera pictures until now. We are saved evidence will disappear,” she added before urging the public for help. “Please, we need some international help ASAP!”
Royal Bahamas police Earlier The Dinari, a Bowie sound technician, arrived at the Bahamas on Friday 4 April with family members. Later he was found “respondent” on a beach on Paradise Island just 12 hours after arriving in the country.
The police said that results from an autopsy made by a pathologist shortly after revealed that Dinari died “as a result of drowning,” and that “foul play is not currently suspected.”

However, the police admitted that they are still waiting for the results of a “forensic analysis of toxicology”, which would determine if “drugs, alcohol and other toxins” may have played a role in his death. They added that the investigation of the incident is still “ongoing”.
Dinari’s mother, Michelle Mcalmont, claimed FOX 5 DC and Eyewitness News Bahamas That her son had been “beaten” after local authorities showed her a photo of her deceased son for identification.
She added, “He was traumatized. His face is damaged. His teeth (had) a lot of foam. His hair that he is normally so proud of, he spent a lot of money on products. He is very proud of his hair – full of sand.”
Dinari and his parents had booked a weekend trip at Atlanti’s resort in Nassau, Bahamas, from Friday 4 April to Monday 7 April, reported Fox 5 DC. The evening that the family arrived at their destination, eating they dinner and Dinari left their parents to explore the resort.
They said that nothing was wrong until hours later when resort staff came to his parents’ room to ask about his place of residence. According to FOX 5 DC, Dinari’s parents noticed that his place -sharing service had become inactive and then began searching the property.
The 23-year-old’s parents eventually submitted a report on missing people when they could not find him. After 1 am local time on Saturday, April 5, Dinari’s parents were contacted by the police about a report that her son was said to “have spit” on someone, even though the details were unclear, per eyewitness Bahamas.
Resort staff eventually returned to Dinari’s parent’s room to inform them that he was dead, about 12 hours after the family arrived in the country, reported Fox 5 DC.
