Exclusive photos from Burzek Wedding 12 seasons in creation

Wedding bells ring in the season finale of Chicago pd! And people have exclusive pictures of the happy couple!

In a television event such as 12 seasons during the creation, Kim Burgess (Marina Squerciati) and Adam Ruzek (Patrick Flueger) finally tie the knot in the last episode of Season 12 on May 21. And they will look good to do it.

The event also marks the show’s first formal church wedding, a detail that is not lost on Squerciati.

“I wanted the classic wedding,” she tells people. “I’m glad it was in a church. I’m glad it was a real wedding. They deserve it.”

In one of people’s photos, fans can see Adam excitedly wait when Kim goes down in the hallway, and their daughter Makayla (Ramona Edith Williams), the official, his father Bob (Jack Coleman) and colleague Kevin Atwater (Laroyce Hawkins) stand around him.

Makayla wears a sweet shimmering dress that tickled her TV mom.

“It looks like sparkles, but I think they are actually small butterflies fluttering,” she says. “They are very sweet and very age -adapted and beautiful.”

When it comes to Flueger first, Squerciati saw in his wedding scene, “he was like” nice, “she says.” I’m like a sister to Patty. He did not care. He is like, ‘eh, sister vibber.’ ”

In February, the actress shared some of the many wedding dresses she tried for Burgess and even asked the fans to weigh. Now she confirms that she and the show took that feedback to the heart.

“It had been so long, right? Three commitment, 12 years. I really felt like the fans deserved a word. It was really important to me,” she says. “I did not get the dress that was ultimately chosen, but I really took into account what the fans liked and then went in that direction.”
