Eric Dane will start filming ‘Euphoria’ 4 days after revealing Als -Diagnosis

Eric Dane comes back on set four days after revealing his Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) Diagnosis.

People can confirm Gray’s Anatomy Alun, 52, will start filming season 3 of Euphoria On Monday 14 April. The actor plays like Cal Jacobs on the hit Max series.

During the Season 2 final of Euphoriawhich aired February 2022 was arrested Cal after his son Nate (Jacob Elordi) handed him over to the police for his previous crimes after a tense confrontation between the father and the son, during which Cal finally met his errors as father.

After the final aired the actor teased in an interview with Amount that his character would return for season 3.

“It will be redemption,” he said. “I mean, that’s the path he’s on. I can’t imagine Cal’s life from sole enclosure. It’s hard to work in history when he’s behind bars.”

Danes’ return to the series comes after he revealed to people that he has been diagnosed with ALS.

“I have been diagnosed with ALS. I am grateful to have my loving family by my side when we navigate in the next chapter,” The last ship star – who is married to Rebecca Gayheart and the father of the couple’s two children, Billie Beatrice15, and Georgia Geraldine, 13 – divided into a statement on April 10. “I feel happy that I can continue to work and look forward to returning to the set Euphoria Next week. ”

ALS, also known as Lou Gehrig’s disease, is a rare degenerative disease that causes progressive paralysis of the muscles, according to Mayo Clinic. It causes patients to slowly lose their ability to speak, eat, go and breathe independently.

There is currently no cure for ALS, and people usually live three to five years after diagnosis, according to Muscular dystrophy association. However, some patients may live decades.
