Have you noticed Ellen PompeoS glow?
It’s hard to miss if you look at her on ABC’s Gray’s Anatomythat just wrapped season 21 in May, or in the latest Hulu Mini series Good American family.
Her radiance was also on full screen when the actress participated in a Walk of Fame ceremony in her honor in April. That’s when we had to know the secrets of our favorite TV doctor’s beauty routine.
Fortunately, she responded to the conversation.
The Meaningful beauty Ambassador since 2019 says it was her “chemistry” with Cindy Crawford It led her to a partnership with the brand.
“I am old enough to know that Cindy was one of the first women who had a beauty brand. I do not know any other women in her position that made beauty brands then when it was not cool or popular,” reminds Pompeo. “I’m sure she got more than a few eye rolls.”
Pompeo, who struggled to become one of the highest paid dramatic actresses on television, knows one thing or two to create an unknown path, has the greatest respect for his friend, who just celebrated meaningful beauty 20 years.
Today she owes part of her glow to Crawford.

“I Love The serum. It’s my hero product from the line, and I think it’s their best product, she says Youth that activates melonsumwhich improves hydration and elasticity using melon leaf stem cell and hydroom H2O technology. (The latter helps the former to penetrate deeper to solid and full skin.)
Pompeo is also a big fan of the brand’s eye patches, especially when traveling. “I can completely carry them on a plane and just go to sleep,” she says Revive and brighten eye masks.
While Pompeo does not always prioritize SPF (“I had lots of tan as children”, she admits) is the product high priority now, and she complete her routine with the brand Anti-aging day crème wide spectrum spf 30 sunscreen.
Of course, her wellness regime also plays a huge role in how Pompeo, 55, looks and feels. “I think diet and exercise are honestly the key. I know everyone says it, but I really do,” she says. “I am a rather regimised person. Very disciplined. My spouse (Chris Ivery) says I am the most disciplined person he knows that I think is a compliment.”
First, her diet is “super cleaning,” she says. “I’m really pretty militant when I eat and what I eat,” she says. Her a weakness is sweets, which “is a kind of problem,” she adds. “But I’m really trying to handle it. I’m really trying to just eat dark chocolate and cherries.”
The actress also has to move “all day”, which sometimes means getting creative for a long day at work. “I’ll cycle from my trailer to the set,” she explains.
Pompeo also tries to get in a sauna for a sauna as well as a cold step “pretty much every day I can,” she adds. “Even when I travel, I try to look for hotels that have a sauna and a pool. If they do not have a cold step, put some ice water on the face! I think it really tightens my face and endorphine rushes also makes me feel good.”
For Pompeo, a balanced wellness routine helps hold her clearly. She is also very honest when it comes to her view of aging.
“Of course it will be a privilege, but I definitely live on TV with my face. So I think you can lean into aging, if you want, or you can fight it. And I think I just try to keep it in the bay, do you know?”
She continues, “I will definitely not say that I keep it 100% natural, it is safe. I definitely have vanity. It is definitely not easy to see yourself age.”
For the TV star, this means that she increases her routine with a minimal invasive beauty procedure from time to time with shells, morpheus8 treatments and “a little botox.”
One thing she is not in is filler. “I don’t like it at all. I’m not really about it,” she says.
And while she has a teenager, Stella Luna and one before teenager, Sienna, at home on the verge of entering their Sephora Kid-Era (she and Isory also share son Eli Christopher), says Pompeo that they have no influence on her beauty routine.
On the contrary, it is still pompeo that affects and tells them that they do not need multi -step routines and more.

When it comes to when the TV veteran feels most beautiful, she is clear: probably after (makeup artist) Dog Vanngo Beats my face.
“I have an incredible privilege to have the best hair and makeup people. So after they are done, you are like ‘okay!’
“It’s like a fun part of the job, surely. Again it’s not easy to get older, but Hung is definitely fantastic. I love when he makes my makeup.”
