On Saturday, May 17, Degeneres, 67, split Instagram Augie died on Friday, May 16.
“We had to say goodbye to Augie yesterday. We saved him 12 years ago and he was so grateful,” wrote Degeneres in the caption.
She continued: “He gave us so much love. He will be missing. There will never be another like him.”

She published several adorable snaps by Augie, including a couple of cute pictures of him who hugged up to de Rossi, 52. Degeneres also added some photos of a relaxed Augie sleeping around the couple’s home.

Several people sent the couple their condolences in the comment section. Her former talk show producer during the day, Andy Lassner, wrote: “I loved that dog.”

On Monday, May 19, Degeneres published one video By themselves, de Rossi and Augie filmed a month before their death. The video was created to promote Degenere’s skincare companies, Kind Science.
“Thanks for all your kind messages about Augie. We filmed the last month and planned to publish it today,” she explained in the caption. “I don’t care what Portia says, please don’t call me the queen of the agreement. We love you, Augie.”
In May 2021, de Rossi published one Instagram Photo with Augie to honor National Pet Rescue Day.
“Me and my little husband Augie shortly after we saved him,” Arrested development Star wrote. “He returned to the protection twice before we took him. He is really the best dog I have ever had – didn’t tell the others!”

In March 2020, De Rossi A dedicated photo By Augie with her dog, Wally, when the two hugged. “We all need someone to lean on,” she wrote.
A few days later she published a photo of Degeneres surrounded by all their pets, and Augie was on the knee of Directors. “Animals … The best support system during this difficult time,” they formed Rossi post.
