Don’t come for her husband!
Dolly Parton1973 -Hit, “Jolene”, has had Parton fans singing for decades, but 2024, Beyoncé Put a modern spin on it.
Beyoncé, 43, covered the song on her 2024 album Cowboy CarterChange the tone and key texts for the song to serve as more of a warning instead of Parton’s foundation.
For example, where Parton sings, “I beg off you, please don’t take my husband,” explains Beyonce, “I warn you, don’t come for my husband.”
In an interview with People tied to the release of her frozen meals with a serve with Conagra brands, Gusade Parton about Beyoncé and her musical talent.
“I’m a big fan of her – I mean, who is not? Everyone loves her,” said Parton. “I think she is a magnificent artist, beautiful and the dance beyond the song.”

Parton called Cowboy Carter A “really, really good album”, one that contains two Komos from Country Music Hall of Famer.
Parton is heard in the track “Dolly P”, where she plays a fake radio -DJ that buys the next set of songs. “9 to 5” singer also contributed to the song “Tyrant”, which is later on the record.
The 10th track on the album is Beyoncé’s burning reproduction of “Jolene”, which Parton loved.

“I was just honored that she naturally did a completely different time for” Jolene “than my version of it,” Parton tells People. “Her was more like,” Well, you don’t get him, you don’t take him, you will go through me to get him. “Mine was more like,” Please don’t take him! “So I loved her interpretation.”
She continued, “As a writer, you like to hear how different people interpret your songs, and how they put their own spin and take their own hold of it. But I was very proud of it, and I hope her tour is doing well, and I’m sure it will. People seem to love it.”
Beyoncé is currently on its way for the Cowboy Carter tour, which will end on July 26, in Paradise, NEV.
