Netflix romantic comedy Wrong Paris Exemplifies how easy life can take a detour.

The film, which premiered on September 12, stars Miranda Cosgrove Like dawn, a woman the longing to go to art school in France, but without means to make her dream happen. When reality -TV dating competition Honeypot Seems like the best chance to make her dream come true, she auditions with encouragement from her family and makes the cut.

However, the promise of a trip to Paris, France, goes south when the producers reveal a great twist for competitors – they are actually sent to Paris, Texas.

Dawn, along with several other women – including characters played by Madison Pettis and Madeleine Arthur – Leave is struggling for the heart of Trey (Pierson Fodé). He is a handsome riding of the bachelor’s degree that Dawn just so happened to have slowly in a bar weeks before the show.

How is it Wrong Paris end?

Throughout its time HoneypotDawn kept his big secret about the art school, with only two people who knew the truth: one of the show’s producers, Rachel (Yvonne Orji) and her roommate, Jasmine. But her undeniable chemistry with Trey puts her secret at risk. Their strong connection put the dawn on the radar for her nemesis on the series, Lexi (Pettis), who has become suspicious of their motives.

After one of the “Spur” ceremonies (rather than roses), Trey finds dawn in their room, and the two sneak away from ranch without the camera and microphones. They drive to another part of the property, where Trey shows Dawn his favorite place, which was his hiding place that grew up. While sitting by the water, they confess their feelings for each other, even though Dawn tells Trey that the timing of their connection is not right.

Instead of going back to Ranch, Dawn Trey takes home. In a moment of vulnerability to Dawn, she shows him her art, including a piece with a golden apple, representing what she describes as “the impossible dream.” Because from the beginning he is known how much she wanted to go to Paris (just not why)He presents her with an offer: go to Paris with him in the final, spend a few weeks in the city and then return to Texas.

Dawn decides to arrest the opening to confess the truth for Trey, but is interrupted by the show’s production team. While she is in Paris, she is surprised by a cafe by Rachel, who tells her that the show’s final is filmed the next day. Dawn pretends that she is uninterested, but discovers that Jasmine and Lexi have come to the final (although Rachel says she is still rooting for Dawn and Trey).

Although Dawn is still confused about why she was eliminated from the show, Rachel reveals the truth about Lexi who tells Trey about her acceptance to the Art School and the two -year program.

Who wins Honeypot?

After dawn is eliminated from the show, Trey remains with several eligible bachelor. Dawn returns short home and uses as planned the money from its appearance on Honeypot To finance his trip to Paris to study in the art school. While she is there, she gets a surprise visit from Rachel, who received Dawn’s new address from the accounting team, and visited her before the final in the dating competition.

Rachel gives Dawn an alternative: if she loses all her winnings from the show, she can show up in the final and explain everything to Trey. Dawn wrestles with the decision, because she needs the money to stay in Paris, but finally decides to show up and try to do things right with Trey.

While waiting for one of his bachelor, Dawn surprises him on the balcony to apologize to Trey. She admits that even though she originally planned to go to the show to make money for the school, she fell in love with really on the road. But her explanation is not enough for Trey, so she leaves him with a separating gift, the golden apple from her artwork.

Shortly after, Trey discovers that Dawn sacrificed his winnings (and thus her Paris funds) to get a second chance, and he chases her. Trey then encourages Dawn to stay in Paris for the school and comes up with a creative solution that makes them both able to get what they want.

With the cameras back on the couple, the Trey question asks Dawn – will she take the money or honey? Instead of taking the engagement ring, she decides to take the money and leaves TREY effectively “single.” It is, until the couple shares a kiss with the Eiffel Tower that flashes in the background and sunbathes in its solution.

Do Dawn and Trey get engaged?

While dawn rejects Trey’s suggestions on the finals in Honeypot, It is not the end of their relationship.

The film’s final credits contained an insight into Dawn and Trey’s future and captured their cross -continental romance through the seasons. Snaps included photos of Trey with Dawn’s family, a couple of photos on New Year’s Eve, pictures from a spring trip and the next milestone in their relationship: a commitment.
