Before she met her partner Ezra Sosa, Jordan said in a confession with her colleagues in gymnastics “set the bar high” and “expectations were higher.”
When she met Ezra, the two talked about Jordan’s performance to “break my soul” by Beyoncé. During the rehearsals, Ezra said that she “stays like a gymnast”, which Jordyn acknowledged was true because it is very different dance versus to turn in the gym.
After their dance, Derek praised his “flips and tricks” in the routine but asked “keep the integrity” in Latin dance. He also warned that the point tonight may be lower than expected, but “It’s a marathon.”
Bruno also loved the dance, but noted that she was “a little wobbling” and advised her to “carry the heating movement through the body.” Overall, he called it a “very, very good first performance.”
Before Jordan got his points, Ezra said it was “so fun” to dance with Jordan, while Jordan called Ezra “fantastic” and praised her “personality” for her to be herself as well.
She also said that Beyoncé would probably have been “proud” of her routine. “She’s someone I look up to,” she added.

The energy was high in the ballroom when the evening started with a dance from the professionals. Hosts Julianne Hough and Alfonso Ribiero then introduced judges and couples, before they started the night’s performances to each couple’s hymns.
The hosts also confirmed that no one would be eliminated at Night One.

Hours before season 34 premiere, Carrie Ann Inaba revealed that she will not be in the ballroom on Tuesday night due to a disease.
In one InstagramThe referee, 57, wrote: “I wanted to share that I will not be at the exhibition tonight when I feel quite during the weather. I rest up and can’t wait to be back next week in good health.”
“Meanwhile I wish all the competitors good luck. I will cheer you from home. 🤍active have a fantastic show all!
People have learned that it will not be replaced for Inaba at tonight’s show and she is expected to return next week.
