A couple of aviation enthusiasts came with the perfect way to make their child’s six reveals – at 30,000 feet aboard a plane to Paris.
Katrín and Anton pulled off the heartwarming celebration with the help of Play Airlines and the air crew, which helped orchestrate Mid-Flight Surprise. The festivities were caught in A video Shared on the airline’s Instagram account that starts with an flight host who makes an unexpected announcement to passengers.
“You already know that you are on a flight to Paris, but this is not just any flight. In fact, it may be the first time in history that someone finds out the gender of their child somewhere over the North Atlantic,” the crew member can be heard.
Film shows the planet’s approximately 200 passengers who each hold up a card with their guess for the child’s gender, before panning to Katrín and Anton standing in front of a colorful cake and uses two champagne flutes to cut up the confection to reveal a layer of light blue frosting inside.
“It’s a boy!” The flight attendant then announced the sound of excited cheering from the cottage.

Katrín and Anton were gifted some played objects for their little ones, including an Onesie and a hat, and the flight passengers were served muffins to celebrate.
The airline formed the Instagram video: “💗💙 It’s a … This morning flight to Paris came with a little extra excitement, a sex reveals 35,000 feet. For what better place to find out than the middle of the Atlantic, surrounded by 200 strangers and cookies? Congratulations to the happy couple and yes, of course it was cake for everyone 🎂✈.”
The couple tells me solely that people were “unforgettable.”
“We couldn’t have imagined a more perfect way to find out that we have a boy! This is our first child together, and to get the great disclosure to take place in the sky, was unforgettable,” they say. “With two boys and a daughter between us, our little crew is getting bigger.”
