Ryder comes in and joins them on the conversation, where she tells her dad, “I came in because my heart went fast.”

Later, Floyd discusses the current trials in her life with her parents, each of whom comes in to control her.

“Until I get an answer to what happens to Ryder’s heart situation, I think I will only be in a funk,” she says.

Floyd’s mother and dad each offer their support by helping and through prayer. They hug each mother to two, who are silent in tears throughout the conversation.

In a confessional, Floyd explains, “With Ryder with VLCAD it is not something we can cure. It is basically her genetics. Now I think we are at this point where she gets taller, she does more sports, she is more active. ”

“Her body is starting to hurt more,” she continues. “She is starting to complain more that the joints are tender. Now that he complains about her breast and her heart we have never had to deal with this before.”

Later in the section they go to the appointment and then call Wharton to share what happened. The heart echo came back well, with Floyd who explained, “The structure of the heart is great. Now we have to rule out that there are no heart problems, so she has to wear the heart monitor for two weeks. If there are heart problems, then when she does things with high energy comes her heart to react to the versus anxiety. ”

Ryder tells his father that the testing was, “scary, but not too scary.” Then she tells her mother, “My heart burned in like a second.”

In another confessional, Floyd says, “How do I explain to my child that we try to make sure your heart is okay when I try to convince myself that her heart is okay? It’s nerve stretch and it has my anxiety through the ceiling.”

Mom is focused on the fact that “I don’t want to scare her, even if I’m afraid.”
