Over the past three days, there have been two bus accidents in Texas’ Cleveland Independent School District.
On Wednesday, August 13, a school bus ended up with 58 elementary school children on his side after rolling over near the intersection between FM 1010 and County Road 347 shortly after 7 AM, Kuub 11 and Ktrk reported.
While it is unclear what led to the crash, photos captured by TNT News Nuevo Laredo Show different young children with their parents, some crying and some in stretches.

Cleveland ISD said in a Online statement that “all students were taken immediately and safely away from the bus and provided medical care.”
Although medical personnel were present, the district said that the students were “evaluated at a local hospital by an abundance of caution.” Parents were notified directly about the incident.
“The district will conduct a complete investigation of the case,” the district says. “Student security is always our highest priority, and we are grateful for the quick response from our transport personnel and emergency recipients.”

Parent Marisol Castillo told Khou 11 that the incident made her wonder if it is safe for her children to go to the bus to school.
“I came through, on my way home, and we saw the whole chaos,” she said, noting that she had just registered her children in the district that morning.
“It was about because I put them as a bus driver, and now I think about it,” she said.
The crash comes after another Cleveland isd -school bus that carries students from Cleveland High School and Cleveland Ninth Class Center “came to rest on their side in a ditch” on FM 1010 on Monday 11 August, according to one Online statement from the district.

Monday’s crash occurred about two miles from the site of Wednesday’s crash, Per Khou 11.
District spokesman Tonya Clark told Houston Chronicle That about 36 of the 59 students on the bus had minor injuries, such as shocks or bruises. None of them had any visible “deep, penetrating incisions or wounds.”
They were sent to local hospitals for evaluation and treatment.

According to the school district’s statement, the bus driver was also evaluated by medical personnel. On one separate statement On Wednesday night, Cleveland ISD said it has “been a difficult week.”
“We experienced two separate bus accidents, and although we are grateful that there were no life -threatening injuries, some of our students demanded additional medical care. Our hearts are with each student, their families and our transport team,” said the statement.
