A bus crashed and left a huge hole in an Albemarle County, huh. Home on Tuesday, March 4, according to Local 12The CBS 19, and 29 News.
On Tuesday morning around 8:30 was a transit bus in the Charlottesville area on the way to Fashion Square Mall area and then hit three cars before it crashed into a house and left a gaping hole.
After it crashed into the single -family house, the bus blinked a message that read: “Unfortunately. Not on duty. ”
Albemarle County Police Department and Fire Rescue then answered on stage. The homeowner and bus driver were transported to the UVA Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries. “No further injuries have been reported right now,” Per Charlottesville Area Transit News notice.
Charlottesville Area Transit Marketing Coordinator Alex Paqualone said “The bus was on duty, but the bus driver was the only person on that bus.”
Carson Foltz, one of the drivers, described the event as “very scary”, told CBS 19, “I felt there was no effort to stop.” She thinks the bus drove “definitely 60 or 70 miles per hour plus.”
She said that another witness informed her after the incident that the bus swung and “drove completely uneven, like on a sidewalk” and then hit Foltz’s car.
“I definitely thought someone was surely killed,” Foltz said. Despite her assumption and the dangerous path of the bus was not seriously injured or killed.
Albemarle County Police Department is investigating the crash and the Charlottesville area collaborate with the authorities in the investigation.

Representatives of Charlottesville Area Transit, Albemarle County Police Department and Fire Department did not immediately respond to people’s request for more information on Thursday.
