King Charles‘The office has revealed the dates of President Donald Trumpupcoming state visits in Britain
Shortly after midnight on July 14, local time, Buckingham Palace announced that the US President and his wife, First Lady Melania trumpWill visit a state visit to the UK from September 17 to September 19.
“The president of the United States of America, President Donald J. Trump, accompanied by the first lady Mrs. Melania Trump, has accepted an invitation from His Majesty the king to visit a state visit to Britain from September 17 to September 19, 2025,” said the statement.
“His Majesty The King will host the president and Mrs. Trump on Windsor Castle,” added it.

The three -day state visit will be the second consecutive state visit, which hosted on Windsor Castle this year.
Although it is more traditional for the British monarch to host state visits from Buckingham Palace in London, the iconic royal residence is currently in the middle of an extensive renovation, which will Wrap 2027. At the end of June, an authoritative report in The times said the state visit from the United States would be held in September.
A formal invitation letter called a “manu regia”, signed by King Charles, was delivered hand by British officials to the White House and set the plans in motion.
“His Majesty has known President Trump for many years and looks forward to hosting him and the first lady later this year,” said a palace assistant.
It was originally believed that a more informal visit would develop at one of the King’s Scottish home, possibly during the summer, with a further, longer visit to follow.
But because of both the king’s and the president’s schedules, people understand that it was not possible to arrange.
