Bryce Dallas Howard Have a menagerie of pets at home, and according to her it has always been so.
“My mother was as strict as a parent, but the area where she was not strictly had to do with pets. She grew up with a zillion, trillion pets,” Howard tells People. So from a young age, Howard was encouraged to embrace pet ownership and the responsibility that comes with it.
“I spent every weekend leaning out the goat bath, making no mistakes. But if you could prove yourself as a pet guard, as a responsible pet garde, it was very difficult for Cheryl Howard To turn off a pet, she adds, which meant that Bryce grew up with dogs, cats, goats, pigs, snakes and more – all animals that helped her embrace the spectrum of emotions and care for other living creatures.
“I was very, very, very, very quiet. I didn’t talk so long when I was young, and I did not really. And my parents said that the first time I laughed, I was definitely over one, maybe almost two, and they will never forget it. And it was because they brought home a Jack Russell Terrier,” explains Bryce, and added to her.
Bryce hopes that her new documentary Pets will give animal lovers this unbroken happiness. It premieres appropriately on National Pet Day (April 11) at Disney+.
Pets, directed by Bryce and produced by Ron Howard And Brian Grazers Imagine documentariesIncludes emotional stories after pet parents and animal rescuers through moments of adoption, loss, adventure and compassion. The film is also apart with interviews with children and their beloved pets.

“It is not only because the children say the darestiest things, but because they really have a perspective on this relationship. In many ways it is the same way as your first love outside your family,” says Bryce, explaining why the children are an important element in the documentary.
The children also erect the sweet factor, which is crucial for Bryce, which finds joy in adorable animal videos and funny pets.
“To tell a story in a way that the children are our connection to the story, with children who are our Greek choir, our storytellers with these who only give you immediate dopamine hits,” says the director.
Overall she is optimistic Pets Will reason with viewers of all ages because pet ownership is a connection point for so many.
“That relationship is something that is sought by people even more than becoming a parent,” says Bryce, adding, “These are common experiences that can bind us all. And at this moment I want to look at things that I can look at with my children, and I want to look at things that will make me feel good.”
