Body found in the search for 23-year-old woman missing for 7 days in Moorland



The woman’s body has been found in the search for missing 23-year-old Jenny Hall, police have confirmed.

The body was found by police in a “very distant area” in Teesdale in northern England, shortly after 9:30 on Sunday, February 23, said Durham Police in a News notice. The update comes after Hall was reported missing at a remote Hedland in the area on February 18.

“We are sorry to report that officers who are looking for the missing woman Jenny Hall have unfortunately found a body,” police said. “Officers conducted a comprehensive search together with special partners and have worked around the clock to find Jenny after she disappeared on February 18.”

The body has not been formally identified yet, according to the release. The authorities do not believe that there are any suspected circumstances surrounding death.

“Jenny’s family has been announced and is currently supported by specialized officers. They have asked for integrity at this devastating time, ”the police were granted.

Police are looking for a missing hall on a remote Morland in the county Durham, England.

Hall was confirmed by the police on February 20. She was last seen leaving her home in the city of Tow Law in northern England shortly after. Facebookwhich has since been removed.

The police stated that Hall’s Red Ford Focus car was found on a road between the village of Eggleston and the city of Stanhope the day before she disappeared. In an updated Facebook Post on Friday 21 February, police confirmed that Hall’s last known place was “where her car was parked.”

The police stated in the post that Hall was “an urgent long distance runner” and they “carried out a broader search in the Teesdale area” while focusing on driving tracks she often used. One of the areas Hall often ran was Hamsterley Forest, which extends over 4,942 acres, BBC News reported.

Hall disappeared in the area on February 18.

Teesdale and Weardale Search and Mountain Rescue Team confirmed in a Facebook Post on February 20 that they helped the police with the search for hall.

Challenging weather conditions and terrain in the area made the search difficult, the authorities said.

“Behind the scenes, digital intelligence officials have carried out extensive requests about Jenny’s mobile phone, Smart Watch and Running apps but no one has produced any results,” police said on Friday.

The local police chief inspector, Dean Haythornthwaite, divided into a Facebook post, “We have become increasingly concerned about Jenny since she was reported missing on Tuesday and has investigated all investigative lines, including dozens from the public.”
