At 3 o’clock on Sunday, November 13, 2022, University of Idaho Student Hunter Johnson got up and locked uncharacteristically the door to his girlfriend’s apartment outside Campus in Moscow.
“It’s something I’ve never done in my life there,” Johnson, 24, told People.
“There was no noise,” he says. “I don’t know why, but something in my soul told me I would lock my door.”
When Johnson secured the door, his girlfriend, Emily Alight, her roommate, Josie Lauteren and her boyfriend at that time.
“We hung in the living room for about 30 minutes before we all went back to bed,” Alight, 23, tells People.

Less than an hour later, Four of their closest friendsMaddie mature, 21, Kaylee Goncalves, 21, Xana Kernodle, 20 and Ethan Chapin, 20, who were in a house outside Campus just down the street at 1122 King Road, became malicious in one of the most shocking events ever hit a college campus.
Asked the next morning by Dylan Mortensen, who also lived in the house, to come and check out the house because of Strange Goings-on the night before, Johnson first went by Alandt.

To his fear, he came across the killed bodies in Kernodle and Chapin in her bedroom on the second floor.
“I was like,“ What happens? “, Johnson tells People.” “Is it real?” Then you realize the seriousness of what you just went into.

The book and documentation go deep in the life of the carefree college students and reveal shocking new details about the barbaric deaths that ended their friends young lives.
The documentation and book comes one month before the long -awaited murder attempt of suspicious Bryan Kohberger28, the former ph.d. Criminology candidate at Washington State University, which was arrested on December 30, 2022, six weeks after the murder.
He was charged with four bills of murder at first degree and was arrested with his parents’ home in Pennsylvania and was extradited to Idaho. He did not appeal guilty to the charges and remains imprisoned when he is waiting for trial, which will begin on August 11. If convicted, prosecutors plan to seek the death penalty.

Sometime between 4 and 04:20, the police said that a striker dressed in black with a ski mask that hides his face and armed with a solid leaf battle and hunting knife, slipped into the sliding door to the kitchen at 1122 King Road, crawled up to the third floor and repeatedly knitted mature and her long-term best friend Goncalves.

Kernodle, who received a door line delivery at 4 o’clock and browsed TikTok at 04:12, according to police, and her boyfriend, Ethan Chapin, also 20, was the next victim of the attack.
“It was our last day that lived as a child,” Johnson tells People.
“Our innocence was gone,” adds Alight.
