From sitting and crying to considering one’s own mortality, Benny BlancoShowers have everything.
The Grammy-nominated producer, 36, withdrew (shower) curtain his unconventional bathing rituals while answered couple questions with hubby Selena Gomez on one Tiktok filmed behind the scenes on their cover Interview magazineMarch issue.
On the question who of the couple – who has passed since 2023 – Takes the longest showers, Gomez, 32, immediately pointed to the producer, who not only accepted his answer, but explained why he spends so much time under the hot water.
“Okay, I may not have a shower every day, but when I do, when I feel I deserve it, I’m there for so long to think about life,” Blanco explained. “I sit down in every shower I go into.”
But he not only relaxes and thinks about during his self-care time-he also uses it as an emotional release of sorting.
“Have you ever crying in the shower? That’s incredible, Blanco told Interview magazine Before he turned to his singer hubby.
“You crying in the shower?” The producer asked Gomez, who responded with a hearty laugh. “Sometimes you just have to have a good cry,” he added.

And that’s not everything – Blanco also revealed that another staple in his shower time is a phenomenon he has called “Death Realization.”
“I always get the death realization when I’m in the shower,” he said in BTS Tiktok like Gomez, seemingly shocked by revelation, said, “Whoa.”
“No, I realize that I will die, but it is in the shower,” he explained as Gomez, in response, raised the question cards to cover her face. “And then I cry a little about it, and then it disappears, and then I feel good because I am … the warm water.”
And, interrupted himself from shower talk, he finished, “okay, the next question.”

By sharing their own philosophies about self -care, the producer told People in the November edition, “do not stink. Do all things. ”
Blanco also told people that he does not “believe in always shampooing” (or conditioning) his hair. “I’m really clean, but I’m not showering every day,” he said at that time. “Some people I know showers two to three times a day, but I feel that the oils on the skin do not have time to rejuvenate and become juicy.”
As for his preferred fragrance-post-shower or otherwise, the producer that he likes “to use a Hodgepodge.”
“I want to smell (like) tobacco, but also as a cotton candy. I want there to be an aroma as I pass by, he explained. “I want it to smell a bit like man, a little feminine – I definitely lean a little more feminine in all respects.”
