Ben Affleck teases Matt Damon for not shaving his gray beard before the Netflix event

The long friends and collaborators were on hand to tease their upcoming movie RIP (Formerly known as TEAR) during the exhibition on Saturday 31 May.

In one April releaseCarnahan, 56, told Tudum that the idea for RIP “Come out of a deeply personal experience that my friend went through, both as father and as head of tactical drugs for Miami-Dade Police Department.”

He added: “It is partly inspired by his life and then by my lasting love for the classic 70s police -thrillers who really valued the character and interpersonal relationships and became pointing stones from the era -films like Snake and City prince and recently, Michael MannS HEAT. ”

And the director praised to have “the best of both worlds” in Affleck and Damon, 54, whom he called “clearly gifted filmmakers, as both creative allies and the studio heads.”
