Bachelor’s Juliana on when she knew Grant Ellis was (exclusive)

Juliana moves and Giving Ellis‘ Bachelor Love Story began at the moment she went out of limousine the first night of the reality show’s 29th season – and so did the sparks between Franchiset’s latest couple.

“You could say that there was a bit of an immediate spark,” says Juliana, 28, people in this week’s edition in a joint interview with Grant, 31. “I think it was in his eye contact and his body language when I came out … He was much taller and much nicer personally.”

The couple got involved in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, on Monday’s Bachelor Finale, but says they felt comfortable with each other at their first meeting.

“He calmed down my nerves more than I thought he would,” with Grant and added that “she knew I was nervous, so she calmed down my nerves too.”

Juliana brought a Cannoli for the couple to share during the first night, a nod to her Italian heritage, and it didn’t take long before they shared their first passionate kiss.

“The immediate connection we had, I had no doubt,” she reminds. “I think I knew from the night one that you were my husband, but I was just trying to play the game and be fair and open.”

Grant admits that he also “felt the connection” the first night, but that it was not until their one-to-one date in Scotland that he was sure Juliana was his eternal person.

“We were definitely attracted to each other, but on our one-to-one date in Scotland, when we shared our story with each other, that’s where it started,” he explains. “Then we continued slowly but surely just grow and grow, and conversation after conversation we just kept getting to know each other.”

“It went to the competitions from there,” he adds.

The dreamy Edinburgh experience saw the couple share a romantic helicopter trip and a cordial castle dinner and gave Juliana the assurance that the emotions were mutual.

“I started to feel really sure you were the man I hoped you would be,” she says. “I think it really just solidified that I had to be vulnerable and meet such a compassion. It was when I was like, okay, I’m locked up.”

Juliana’s sister registered her for the show and Newton, Mass. The natives are convinced that her story end was supposed to be.

“Everything fell into place,” she says. “To feel that I had such good support from my family and then found out that it was (Grant), which was number one on my list of who I hoped it would be.”

Juliana’s grandmother died a few years ago and she also knew her with her all over Bachelor experience. “I know her with me every day, and I just felt she was up there and made the way for me,” she notes. “I saw qualities in him as I was,” Oh, she literally created a man for me. “

Grant in a similar way that he met the woman in his dreams in his new hubby.

“She was not afraid to speak her mind and she didn’t care what anyone thought,” he shakes. “She was going to stand up for what she believed in. It was something that was monumental to me and that’s what really had me,” Wow, this is once in my life that I meet. ”

The lucky couple reveals that they are in “no rush” to get married, but they have no doubt that they have found the right husband for them.

“I feel so seen and heard and valued when I talk to you or around you, and I think these are the types of qualities that are so important in a relationship, and especially in a marriage,” Juliana says about Grant. “You always meet me with such compassion and love, and you really are my hype man.”

“I was looking for someone with compassion and someone with character, and I found it,” says Grant, adding that he thinks Juliana’s heart is her defining quality. “I have no doubt that she is an amazing person, that she will make an amazing wife and I am excited. I think we understand each other for our core.”
