The technical company that initiated an investigation after a couple went viral for its reaction after being discovered together at one Coldplay Concert – who got singers Chris Martin To joke that they may have a “deal” – has put the man seen in the clip on leave.
“Leader and chief product manager Pete Dejoy currently serves as Interim CEO as Andy Byron has been placed on leave,” a spokesman told the astronomer to People on Friday 18 July. “We will share more information as needed in the coming days.”
The couple – who were not identified in the original video – was called by Martin on the Coldplay show in a moment that quickly went nuclear power on social media on Thursday, July 17.

The video quickly went viral because various online accounts were alleged to identify the couple and share details about what was really going on.
Later at the concert, Martin seemed to take up the potential fall from the Kiss Chamber, The custodian reported.
“Holy S —“, the singer told the audience, according to the newspaper. “I hope we didn’t do anything bad.”
In a statement shared on LinkedIn on Friday, July 18, Astronomer wrote that it is “engaged in the values and culture that has guided us since the foundation. Our leaders are expected to set the standard in both behavior and liability.”
“The Board has launched a formal investigation of this issue and we will have additional information to share a lot soon,” added the company.

The technical company, which did not explicitly confirm the identity of anyone in the video at that time, found that Byron had not posted any statement and that reports that “other employees” were at the event and presented in the video were incorrect.
When they were previously reached by people, the astronomer confirmed that it had no further comment.
Byron has not responded to people’s separate messages seeking comment. The woman could not be reached.
