Alaska mom charged after claiming leave toddlers alone in freezing the car

A mother in Alaska has been accused after claiming to leave her child without supervision in a car while she had a “romantic rendezvous” in a hotel.

Alaska Department of Public Safety State Troopers Division said in a News notice 38-year-old Lillian Johnson was arrested on a first degree accusation to jeopardize a child’s welfare.

The authorities stated that the child’s mother was not “immediately found” when toddlers were transported for further medical treatment. But she “left the hotel after EMS had already left with her child.”

Alaska State Troopers started an investigation into the incident and received hotel safety video from that night, which is said to show that Johnson was in the hotel for about 35 minutes from about 20:18 local time to 20:53, “before returning to control the child” and found 20 months old.

Investigators said that their investigation found that Johnson had “left their child in the car to have a romantic meeting with a guest at the hotel.”

Government troops gave no other information about the event or any updates on the child’s status.
