Alan Cumming is on board for Romy and Michele’s reunion for high school continuation!

Speaks exclusively to people on an intimate Brunch for Betrayer At Chateau Marmont in Los Angeles on Thursday, May 15, the Scottish actor and TV values, 60, confirmed that he will repeat his role as Sandy Frink in the follow-up to 1997-comedy.

“It’s very exciting,” Cumming tells People. “It has been really fun actually talking to Robin (Schiff), the writer and Lisa (Kudrow) Like that. ”

The original movie saw Friend Star, 61 and Mira Sorvino As titular characters: Best friends who had not accomplished everything they wanted when their 10-year reunification of high school took place.

Hijinks followed when the women did their best to impress their former classmates.

Cumming tells people that he “can’t really say much without giving too much” when it comes to the action, but that the release arrives until 2027 – the year for the film’s 30th anniversary.
