Childersburg, Alabama – Alabama authorities say that a mortal Tiktok Trend called “Boat Jumping” has already claimed four lives in recent months.

Several voltage seekers who participate in a dangerous TikTok trend called “Båg jumping” have accidentally drowned in Alabama, as New York Post reported.
“Boat jumping” is when people jump or turn their backs on fast boats. According to Captain Jim Dennis from the Childersburg rescue group, these individuals then break the throat of the wake of the boat and drown.
“(In the past six months we have had four drownings that were easy to avoid,” Jim told WBMA. “They did a Tiktok challenge. This is where you get in a boat that goes at high speed, you jump from the side of the boat, you do not dive, you jump off your feet first and you just lean into the water, Dennis said.
The first victim died in February after jumping from a boat while his wife and children saw. “Unfortunately, she recorded her death,” Jim said.

This trend and its corresponding hashtag have been a problem for the first respondents in rivers in lakes in the United States over the past two years. The victims have been all different ages.
“I think people, if filmed on the camera, I think they are more likely to do something stupid because they want to show up in front of their friends for social media,” Dennis told ABC 7.
Boat jumping is particularly dangerous as the boat usually goes at high speeds, which are combined with the water, make a dangerous landing plate. If an individual does not protect the neck and head, they may become paralyzed or die.
Dennis emphasizes that this trend is not cool: “Don’t. It’s not worth your life.”
