Amber Desiree “ad” Smith and Ollie Sutherland Have no doubt that they found their perfect match in each other – no matter how uneven the trip was to get there!
On Friday, August 15, Netflix lost Season 3 final of Perfect matchwho finally revealed the winner of the reality dating competition. Although they were connected since their very first day in the villa, advertisement and Ollie did not win and instead came in second place to Lucy Syed and Daniel Perfetto.
Although they did not pass away with the title “Perfect Match”, the two got something even better: an engagement just six months after the filming ended and a child on the way.
But things were not always flexible to the couple. Love Island Alum Justine Joy’s arrival – and subsequent date with Ollie – shook things. Ollie stopped matching with her while the ad was temporarily removed from the villa, and it was later revealed that Ollie kissed Justine but lied to advertise.
When the ad learned the truth from Justine, a blowout struggle followed between her and Ollie, but they could ultimately smooth things out and move forward.

“Ollie was on time for a while,” she laughs. “He had a lot to do to do, but we focused on intention in our relationship and just to be open and honest to each other about what we wanted from our own personal lives and what we wanted as a couple.”
“And everything we said we would do, we did,” she says. “And he has been so open and honest and transparent with me ever since. So that’s all I can really ask for.”
Ollie agrees with her hubby and explains: “They say that the best form of apology changes behavior, and from that moment I have made a complete 180 when it comes to how I am in all aspects of a relationship, in terms of just openness and transparency and only honesty. And just everything I did wrong, and I will do right, essentially.”

AD admits that she felt he was the “as he walked through the door.”
“It was my husband … immediately,” she explains. “I never thought I would be one of those girls who is like when you know, you know, but it was just something about his aura and his energy when he came in. I was just like:” That’s it. We can leave. ”
But Ollie remembers things differently and says it was a gradual realization of their journey in the villa.
“I don’t think there was any moment in itself,” he explains. “I think it was a merger of beautiful tender moments that just came together and made me have the overall feeling.”
“And I think going through what we vent through when she was taken out of the house, and then when I finally was to rematch of her, and then dropping the ball the way I did and action things so badly, and then still bee to win back her trust and have her for Moment, where I was so scared I was going to lose her, I think that made me realize just how important she was to me, and how much i’d never want to be in that position again. ”
“I don’t know if it even makes sense, but almost losing her just made me realize how important she was to me,” he adds.

Both AD and Ollie agree that the show accelerated the process, as well as their shared backgrounds in Love is blind and Love is blind: Britain.
“The show accelerated things safely, because from the first day, when you share a room with that person, you wake up and make challenges with that person,” explains Ollie. “In the real world you don’t go that way. So the format for the show really accelerated things. I’m glad it did. And how else would we ever have crossed roads in the real world? So yes, I am very grateful.”
Adds AD: “I think we can say that we owe the show a bit. I think it allowed us to put some more pressure where we probably would not normally have and to speed up things.”
“I think Love is blind Learn to ask the (important) questions immediately, “she notes.” As much as you want to go to the show and have fun and just be like a cute girl, pracing, on the back of the head, are you like: “Do you want to have children? Want to get married?”
“I don’t know. I’m just like that Love-is-blindcoded and I think it really helped with our experience because he is also very much Love-is-blindCoded, she says.

“(I am) so excited. Obviously nervous too, but it just speaks to how excited I am and how much it means to me,” Ollie says about becoming a girl dad soon. “Of course I’m nervous because I want to get it right, but I’m sure we as a team will be fantastic parents and we just can’t wait to meet our little girl.”
They are also working on planning a wedding, although AD notes that she is more focused on embracing her hubby.
“We plan everything every day, but we take it day by day,” she says. “We only enjoy every moment. Right now we have wedding thoughts, we don’t really have too many plans.”
“I like to be a hubby, frankly, it’s my favorite part,” she adds, while Ollie Chimes in, “We plan to plan. They come along, they come along.”
However, the cross-constant couple has some ideas regarding the site of their wedding and if the United Kingdom or the United States would be more suitable.
“Here (in the United States), yes, here initially,” says Ollie. “But we can do another in the UK”
“When it comes to a specific place, I think another beach site would be nice,” he explains. “We met on the beach, we got engaged on the beach. Why not get married on the beach?”
