Rocket may not have been the end of Taron Egerton in singing-and-dance mode. As the actor tells People, his dream project is another film music.
“There is a musical I love,” teasing the British star producer, 35, before the release of his new crime thriller She rides shotgun. But when it comes to details, he keeps mom.
“I don’t want to say what it is, because I don’t want to Jinxa it,” says Egerton with a smile. “There is a really classic American musical that I really love that I would love to turn into a movie. It has never turned into a movie and I think it would be fantastic.”
Egerton wowed audience in 2019 when he took on the formidable role Elton John In musical biopics RocketA high -energy performance that acquired him a Golden Globe Award and a lasting binding with John himself. “I really hope, really, really that I can achieve it,” says Egerton about his dream film music. “It’s very, very hard and the farm is super -safe for it and rightly.”
He adds, “If I handle it, you know about it and I think it would be incredible. But I won’t jinx it by telling you what it is because I have tried for a while.”
