13-year-old girls drown after missing while you swam on the beach

A 13-year-old girl has died after recovering from the water in a beach in New Jersey.

About 18:36 Local time on Friday 15 August, police received “several 911 calls by a swimmer in need” outside Eight Avenue Beach in Belmar, Belmar Police Department said in one News notice Shared on Facebook. When the police arrived, they learned that a person was out of the water while a 13-year-old was still missing.

Belmar Water Rescue entered the water in an attempt to find the missing teenager, according to police. About an hour later, she was found “does not answer in the water” outside Seventh Avenue Beach.

“The victim was removed from the water, where life -saving efforts were made by Belmar Lifeguards, Belmar EMS, Wall Township EMS and Hackensack Meridian Paramedics,” according to the police news message.

After being taken to the Jersey Shore University Medical Center, the teenager was deceased “despite extensive efforts.”

No lifeguards were at service at the time of the event, per CBS News New York and NBC New York.

Lifeguards are at service in the area from 9:00 and 17:30 on weekdays and between 9:00 and 18:00 on weekends, according to Belmar Beach Website.

The teenage victim’s identity has not been released by Belmar Police Department in the middle of their investigation.

The tragic incident comes after another person reportedly died on a New Jersey -Beach earlier this week.

On August 11, one person died after getting stuck in a Ripström along with four other swimmers on Webster Avenue Beach in Seaside Heights, CBS News New York Reported, with reference to manager William Rumbolo from Seaside Heights Fire Department.

The five swimmers were rescued from the water, but an unidentified 31-year-old man was sent to the Community Medical Center in Toms River, where he was pronounced dead, per outlet.

People have reached Belmar Police Department and Belmar Beach for comments.
