The police in Illinois said that a body found in a forest preserves may be there for a woman who disappeared late last month.
The authorities previously said that Oasinbo “Sinmi” Abosede, 46, Last saw on July 30About 9:20 Local time and goes away from her Naperville, ill., Home at the 2100 quarter in Sudbury Street.
A systematic search was carried out on August 4, which involved 40 trained volunteers, K9 teams and drone operators, police say.
On Thursday, August 14, the Naperville Police Department confirmed in one News notice that the authorities were called to a trailhead at the southwest corner of Springbrook Prairie Forest Preserve after the discovery of a dead body.
“Officers arrived on the stage and were led through a dense area with tall grass to the body,” read the statement. “The clothes in the deceased matched the clothes that Oasinmibo ‘Sinmi’ Abosede was last seen to wear. At present, we continue to believe that no foul play is suspected.”
Naperville Police Chief Jason Arres said that while the authorities believe the remains belong to Abosede, Dupage County Coroner’s Office will make the formal identification.
“We are deeply saddened by this loss and expand our sincere condolences to the Abosede family during this difficult time,” Arres said, according to the department’s news notice. “Thanks to everyone in our society who helped with this investigation and for your care and concern. We ask that everyone keeps the family in your thoughts and respects their integrity during this difficult time.”
The department added that it helps Forest Preserve District in Dupage County Police, which leads the investigation.
The police said at the time of Abosede’s disappearance that she had a long -sleeved black adidas jacket, gray sweat pants, a black head scarf and black hook. The department added that she apparently left her mobile phone, credit card and other personal items.

The police said that Springbrook Prairie Forest Preserve remains open to the public and that there is no threat to security.
