A woman in Wisconsin traveled halfway around the world, disguised herself and tried to murder a man on behalf of someone she had met on a dating app.

Aimee Betro, 44, was sentenced on Tuesday, August 12 in Birmingham Crown Court in Britain of conspiracy to murder and two firearms charges, Crown Prosecution Service announced.

Betro reportedly entered the world of international murder at the request of her lover, Mohammed Nazir from Derbyshire, whom she met on a dating app and visited in the UK between December 2018 and January 2019, heard lawyers in court, according to the court, according to the court The custodian.
