Sue Bird Shocks Megan Rapinoe by recreating Coldplay ‘Kiss Cam’ moments

Sue Bird and Megan Rapinoe Get in on jumbotron fun.

The retired WNBA player and her football star Fiangée recently went viral for their funny recreation of Heading “Kiss cam” controversy It happened at a Coldplay concert in early July.

While participating in Minnesota Lynx and Seattle Storm Game in Seattle on Tuesday, August 5, the cameras caught bird loving dancing with someone other than Rapinoe: Doppler, Storm’s mascot!

In a clip that has since become viral, Rapinoe is depicted by a seated court during a break in the action of the basketball game. Then the cameras turn to bird in the ceiling beam which turns side by side with red, fur mascot.

Like astronomers CEO Andy Byron and the company’s HR -executive director Kristin Cabot, which unexpectedly got stuck at Gillette Stadium, Bird and Doppler reacted with immediate embarrassment on the big screen. They joked down and covered their faces and tried to hide.

The camera then cut back to Rapinoe, who pretended to watch in shock as she took in Bird’s performance on the screen above. As a result, the crowd broke out in cheer and laughter.

The retired athletes announced their commitment to each other in October 2020. In August 2024 they started their podcast, A touch more with Sue Bird & Megan Rapinoe.

Outside Rapinoe and Bird have several celebrities recreated the viral kiss the chamber that took place at ColdplayS Massachusett’s tour stop, was Chris Martin Notoriously, the couple called down when it went down.

“Oh, look at these two! Okay, come, you are okay,” he said before he had, “Oh, what? Either they have a deal or they are just very shy.”

Both Byron and Cabot have then resigned from the astronomer.
