A Royal Caribbean Cruise guest has been left with damage after an error on the ship’s water slide.
The incident occurred at Royal Caribbean’s The icon of the sea When the Acrylic Glass Panel broke while the passenger used the picture on Thursday 7 August, according to ABC News.
While the person’s identity has remained hidden, the man is reportedly in stable condition, the outlet reported.
Film of the event caught water that shot out of the part of the glide where the glass broke, per CBS news.

The video was captured by Jim Muldoon and showed passengers who screamed and shouted, “Stop the picture. Stop the picture”, according to the outlet.
In a statement issued to People, Royal Caribbean Group said: “Our team provided medical care to an adult guest when acrylic glass broke off a water slide when the guest passed through the picture.”
“The guest is treated for their injuries,” they added.

The Royal Caribbean group did not reveal how serious the guest’s injuries were.
“The water image is closed for the rest of the sailing pending an investigation,” officials concluded.
The cruise will return to Miami on Saturday, according to CBS News.
