Chris Appleton breaks his silence on divorce from Lukas Gage

Chris Appleton opens up about the “pain” as he endured when he navigated in his relationship with Lukas Gage in the public eye – and how he found his light at the end of the tunnel.

Celebrity hairdresser sat down for a section of Jay Shetty PodcastWhere he opened in -depth about his divorce in 2024 from the actor Lukas Gage after seven months of marriage.

“I think people have this view, from social media probably, that I have it together. I work with these amazing people, life looks glamorous. So from the outside it probably looks like I have got everything together,” said the industry star, who is famous to work with Kim Kardashian and Jennifer Lopez.

“But the truth is, especially during that time, I went through a lot of private pain,” continued Appleton, which added that the “online speculation” if his romantic life was “extremely intense, especially when you are just trying to deal with things.” His priority at that time was also to protect his children from rumors.

Appleton admitted that healing “was not an easy process”, but he sat through is emotion in therapy. “Coming out on the other side, there are some of you that feel like you can, you know, reflect on it and move on”, and adds that he wanted to “handle it with peace and handle it my way.”
