The Chadmaker The actor added star power to a recent meeting in the University of Texas Football team when he surprised a walk-on player with a full scholarship.
“What happens Longhorns? It’s Glen Powell, colleague Texas,” Twin Star, 36, said in a video displayed for players and staff. “I have freshly founded respect for what it takes to join a football team. It takes barley. It takes grinding. And most importantly, it takes heart. Marshall, your hard work has not gone unnoticed. That’s why Texas gives you a scholarship.”
The camera in the room then panned to Marshall Landwehr, a fifth -year senior Linebacker from Dallas, who was slowly smiling and then swarmed by his cheering teammates.
Later, Longhorn’s coach Steve Sarkisian offered a few words to celebrate Landwehr’s performance.
“When we talk about everyone in this room has a role in the organization, this is the symbol of it, the guy,” Sarkisian said. “I couldn’t be more fired for your husband. Congratulations!”

Landwehr, which went to Highland Park High School – the same school as world no 1 golfer Scottie Scheffler and the Los Angeles Rams Quarterback Matthew Stafford Participated – then threw back to their own teammates.
“You are part of the biggest reason why I show up every day,” Landwehr said. “Have done this for five years, it will not be old, keep working. This is the dream, the man.”
The No. 1 ranked school in surveys before the season, Texas is on its way to an exciting season, with the debut of Arch Manning Like quarterback.

Powell, a native of Austin, participated in UT Austin’s Moody College of Communication; He left school at the age of 19 to run his acting career.
Powell will make his own brand on the football field next month. His hulu comedy Chadmaker – inspired by the viral sketch where Arch’s uncle Eli Manning Imported a walk-on into Penn State premiere September 30.
