Step for Steps Angela Watson and Make Shares Updates About Baby James

Angela Watson and her husband Brian Nahas are proud parents.

The Step by step Star first announced that she welcomed her first child, a boy named James, in An Instagram post on July 18, 2024. She was 48 years old at that time.

Over the past year, both she and Nahas, 64, have shared their journey as parents, from James’s time in Nicu to his experience in rehabilitation, physiotherapy and occupational therapy.

On August 2, Nahas shared a video update to his Instagram Account after 18 days of James who is in rehabilitation. “The therapists seem to see some strength and good moments in his daily work with PT (physiotherapy), OT (occupational therapy) and speech/language,” he wrote in the caption.

According to a Gofundme Created by a friend of the couple “To support Brian and Angela Nahas as they navigate this unexpected journey as new parents”, were born toddlers “with a serious heart failure that required extensive medical care from a team of specialists.”

The video showed that nurses worked with James as he played with toys, learning sounds and shapes – even got a high five from a furry friend.

Nahas called the first 12 days “tough”, and added that they were filled with “consistent throw”, but “now almost 18 kg shines his personality more, with unexpected hand waves, funny giggles and unexpected sweet sounds coming from him.”

James also did well on his swallowing test when it came to checking whether he could handle liquids and puree or not. But there were still some setbacks.

“Unfortunately from forced spotting or his own strength, he has had to replace the nasal tube 4 x over the past 6 days,” wrote Nahas, leaving that James would undergo a procedure on August 11 to replace the pipes and “free him for mobility … so he can come home and continue to grow and become stronger.”

“This video is just some of the last three days of interaction in the Baby James life. Send love and hugs to everyone and we are grateful for the continued love, support and prayers,” he concluded.
