Ansel Elgort Made a special stop on his latest length outing.

The the actor, 31, shared a photo of himself and John GreenTakes a selfie together on the author’s phone. In the caption he opened up to reunite with the author behind The error in our starsAs Elgort played in the film’s adaptation of the opposite Shailene Woodley.

“Recently drove all over the country and made a big stop in Indiana to see John Green! He took me to see the actual funky legs!” he said, referring to the book and the movie.

The error in our stars Is Green’s fourth novel and tells the bitter -cute story of a teenage cancer patient who meets and falls in love with a teenager from his cancer support group. It has sold more than 23 million copies all over the world. The film was also a success and served as a launch plate for Elgort’s career.

“If you remember from Tfios, Gus Hazel Grace takes there because the artist is Dutch, (Joep van Lieshout). He then surprises her with Dutch cheese and tomato sandwich (the tomato was Mexican) and tells her they come to Amsterdam !!!” He wrote.

The two were also reunited earlier this summer, when Elgort and Nat Wolff Was on hand when Green was honored with the Pioneering Spirit Award at 2025 thirstyly held at SLS Beverly Hills.

John and Brother Hank Green’s turned with Earl, part of the couple’s dedicated fanbase. She served as inspiration for the author to finish the book.

Earl died of thyroid cancer in 2010. Before her death and with her approval, the brothers decided that they would continue to celebrate her life and inheritance on her birthday during the years that followed. Earl would have filled August 31st.
