Ex-Maroon 5 Basist Mickey Madden’s wife claims he attacked her after she confronted him over alleged sexting with Teen Girls

Catherine Blair Bowman, wife of the past Maroon 5 bassist Mickey MaddenWrote that she was “terrified” for him in new court applications and claimed that he physically attacked her after she confronted him about “sexting with teenage girls.”

Bowman is looking for a limitation order against Madden, 46, in new documents submitted in the Los Angeles County Superior Court on Wednesday, July 30. The documents note that musicians are currently in a rehabilitation facility. A judge granted a temporary restriction decision, effectively until a court date scheduled for August 20.

Bowman then described the alleged incident in detail. “When he denied it, I asked him to leave his phone,” she wrote. “He would not leave me his phone, but I could see that he quickly removed the evidence from his phone.”

After taking the phone and running out of the house, Bowman claimed that Madden “became furious.”

“He put both arms around my body around my abdomen and arms to limit me. He then threw my body against the marble kitchen bench. I felt pain in my hip and waist.

The documents also claim that another incident of abuse took place on May 14. “He physically abused me. Extreme emotional injury. I am now terrified of him,” Bowman wrote.

In screen -dumped text messages submitted in the request for a restriction order, Madden was claimed to sexting as “a private and false harmless imagination” that had no impact on real life at all. ”

In the alleged text messages, Bowman, “Mickey. I don’t know the man who hires 18 -year -old prostitutes to text them to want to be their stepfather and rape them while we are on our honeymoon.” Bowman then seemed to refer to through text that she similarly experienced an abusive relationship with an older man as a teenager.

Madden answered is said, “I am over sorry for my actions and to have been involved in some kind of expression of these impulses … it is completely unacceptable. But I have to draw the line at the characterization of what I did … This was entirely.

In the documents obtained by people, Bowman also claimed that Madden “held back” sex from her after expressing a desire to get pregnant together and instead began sleeping with a “prostitute”.

Madden left Maroon 5 in 2020, Two weeks after an alleged incident of home violence. In June 2020 he was arrested on an incorrect charge in Los Angeles, according to prison posts. He was released the same day after posting his bond of $ 50,000.
