A couple were killed while walking with their two daughters in a state park in Arkansas – and local authorities now ask the public for help in finding the suspect, who remains at large.
Clinton David Brink, 43, and Crista Amanda Brink, 41, died while they were in Devil’s The State Park with its daughters, ages 7 and 9, on Saturday 26 July, according to one press release from Arkansas State Police (ASP).
Police were announced about the double murders around 14:40 local time, and they arrived at Washington County Park shortly after.
The couple was found dead on a hiking trail. Their daughters were not injured and are safe with other family members, according to Asp.
The police said the family had recently moved to Prairie Grove, Ark. – Located about 15 miles from the Oklahoma limit – from another state.

On Sunday, July 27, Asp announced that the authorities had an updated description of the suspect in the case-a white male with a medium-sized building that wore a long-sleeved shirt with the sleeves rolled up, dark pants, a dark hat and sunglasses.
The suspect, whom the police founded, wore a black backpack and had finger -free gloves, was seen “running towards a park output in a black, four -door,” possibly a Mazda, with a registration plate covered with electric or duct bands.
The authorities said that the alleged may have potentially traveled on State Highway 170 or State Highway 220 near the park where the murders took place.
“Investigators ask those who visited the park on Saturday to check mobile phone photos and videos or Gopro camera films for pictures of the suspect,” police say in their release. “They also ask the inhabitants of the area that surrounds the park to notify ASP if they have access to security and game camera films.”
The authorities all asked with pictures not to share it on social media, as “this could inadvertently jeopardize the investigation.”
The area in the park where the murders took place is described by Asp as “a distant and countryside, where the terrain is robust, the vegetation is thick and there is no mobile phone service.”
It has since been closed to the public as the investigation remains ongoing.
