Marc Maron said to have the right to Taylor SwiftMusic will not come without a hefty price tag.
Comedian and Podcaster, 61, spent big dollars to use a specific song from Popstjärnens catalog for his upcoming stand-up special, he revealed on the July 25 episode of Vulture’s Good Podcast.

Maron said that Antonoff, 41, advised him to go through official music licenses, and he could ultimately get approval to use the track.

“It was feasible,” said the Maron, however, that the tens of thousands of dollars only covered the use of one minute of the song.
“I would have gone over minute, (but) it had been more money,” he explained.

Maron said he does not know about Swift, 35, has heard the specific joke in the special that her team wrote on, but he “manifested” that she would really like it if she did it – for his project.
“It must happen,” Maron said. “The real fear (where), which, (if) she does not let you use it, and what do you do then? You can’t do a bit on the special.”
While Maron did not reveal the content of the current part, he has talked about Swift’s music – and his Travel to becoming a quick – Previously.
“I am an open minded guy and I like music. I (wanted) to try to find out what it is about Taylor Swift, all of which never turns off,” he said in a section 2023 episode of his long-term podcast, WTF with Marc Maron.

Maron said he stopped listening to Swift’s Midnights album On a hike, and he was impressed with what she heard.
“I’m like,” okay. I understand that. “It’s pop music, but it’s not dance music (and) it’s, kind of, emotional.
