Tia Mowry Opens on how to overcome divorces and devastation of divorce.
Wednesday 25 June Tia Mowry: My Next Act Star, 46The Invited fans to ask her open questions about her Instagram stories. One of the questions came from a fan who asked, “Girl how the hell do I recover from this divorce? Lord helps me chile!”
Mowry went through her own divorce when she announced that she was Share from Cory Hardrict after 14 years of marriage In October 2022. Exes completed his divorce In April 2023 and share daughter Cairo7 and son Cree13.
She gave her honest advice and told the fan to “dive to do the work” and “really, really focus on self -care.”

“Focus on what makes you happy and what brings you joy. Build a tribe, a community of friends, a support system. Meditate. Try new hobbies. Read books on healing,” she said.
The Sister, sister Alums advised their fans to “spend time with your children if you have them, or just surround yourself with people who really love and support you.”
“Do things that feel funny and fulfilling. Travel, if you can. Travel really helped me. It’s about creating new experiences,” she said. “The more experiences you have, the further away you get from the heavy, bowel -changing feeling of divorce.”
Her last advice was something Mowry has previously talked about.
“Also let yourself cry. Let yourself feel everything. Don’t let it consume you,” she said. “I hope it helps.”
In October last year, Mowry told people that She allows herself to be vulnerable in front of her daughter.

“The thing is like mom, you’re trying to find out if you should let them see your feelings, your ups and your downs,” she said. “And I’ve made the choice to move from an authentic place. And let (Cairo) see that there are days when mom is sad. And that’s okay.”
She said she gives both Cairo and Cree “that space to express and just be genuine.”

“And it’s not about covering, you know, things,” Mowry continued. “And I think that when you move in authenticity there is healing, there is growth – and I have allowed my children to do so too.”
