A controversial co-founder of Messaging Platform Telegram says he shares his wealth between his children and he says he has at least 106 of them.

Durov said his children will not have access to his legacy, after his death, until 30 years from the day he gave the interview to The pointOr June 19, 2055.
“I want them to live like ordinary people, build up alone, learn to trust themselves, be able to create, not depend on a bank account,” he said.
Durov decided to assign his property now because his “work involves risks,” he said – an obvious reference to the legal issues he has met over telegrams.
The message app, founded in 2013, is popular for its privacy and encryption options. But it has also created problems with law enforcement.
French authorities accused Pavel in August 2024 and accused him of claiming to be employees in running a platform where illegal activity – such as child sex abuse material, drug trafficking and fraud – could thrive, according to New York Times and NBC News.
The status of that case is not clear, but Durov told The point: “Defending freedoms serves you many enemies, including within powerful states.”
