Ralph Fiennes provides mother counsel for anyone who plays Voldemort in the TV series ‘Harry Potter’

Ralph Fiennes Am ready to hand over the reins – or should we say clothes – to the next actor who will bring Voldemort to life.

The three times the Oscar-nominated actor drew some mother’s council for those who play Dark Lord, alias he who must not be named in HBO’s new Harry Potter series.

“Make sure you can handle the long, flowing clothes and not tripping over them,” Fiennes prevailed during an interview with Entertainment tonight. “Practice your long, liquid mantle walk.”

Fiennes also shared a fun fact about part of his Voldemort garment that he had changed throughout the film series.

Fiennes recalled how his tights were originally a piece that had a gusset, which “continued to be lower and lower throughout the shooting day and became uncomfortable.”

He said he then requested “individual tights like a garter”, before I was joking, “so I liked to tease the stunt guys by lifting my clothes and showing them my tights.”

Fiennes played Voldemort for five Harry Potter films, debuted in the 2005 Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire.

The actor continued to play the villain for the rest of the film series, which ended in 2011 with Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 2.

He also returned along with many of his colleagues, including Daniel Radcliffe (Harry Potter), Rupert Grint (Ron Weasley) and Emma Watson (Hermione Granger), for a TV special in 2002 that marked the 20th anniversary of Harry Potter Movies.

Fiennes has said he would do “Of course” Reprine his role as Voldemort if he is asked, but more recently gave their approval for Cillian Murphy To take over that part, call him a “wonderful suggestion.”

Although that will play Voldemort in HBO’s upcoming TV adaptation of JK Rowling’s book series has not yet been announced, the actors in the lead role as the main trio have already been confirmed.

In addition, John Lithgow will play Albus Dumbledore, Janet Mcteer will play Minerva McGonagall, Papapa Essiedu will play Severus Snape and Nick Frost will play Rubeus Hagrid – all Hogwarts favorites.
