Jesy Nelson And her girls have finally made it home!
On Saturday, June 14, the little mixalum split into one Instagram After she and the twin daughters she shares with boyfriend Zion Foster – named Ocean and Story – was released from the hospital, just in time for Nelson’s 34 birthday.
“My children made it home for my birthday π₯Ήπ€,” Nelson wrote, along with a black and white photo of himself who looked at his daughters.
The news came after Nelson spent months in the hospital during pregnancy after her doctor discovered that the twins were monocorionic dietiotic (MCDA), which means they shared a single placenta.
The girls were eventually born 31 weeks on May 15, the singer announced before and had been in the hospital ever since.
Nelson first revealed his pregnancy on Instagram On January 12 and shared a Polaroid style photo by himself and her musician boyfriend with the caption: “She eats for 3 now πΆπΆ.”

Months later, in March, Nelson talked about the medical state of the twins and explained in an emotional video at the time that “a child can take all the nutrients” from the placenta, or “the other maybe, which – really terrible to say – could lead to both children dying.”
A few days later Nelson split An update Where she revealed that she experienced symptoms as a doctor had advised her to “watch out for”, including her stomach tightening and difficulty breathing. She formed the video “TTTS UPDATE”, with reference to twin-to-twin transfusion syndrome.
After a check in the hospital, Nelson said that doctors decided that “they had to perform the (A) procedure” to fix twin-to-twin transfusion syndrome “which is obviously not what we wanted to happen.” She added, “but it is necessary because it will give our children the best chance to survive.”
In April Nelson shared an update of her emergency procedure On her Instagram stories, filmed from her hospital room.
“We just wanted to come here because we are another week longer and we feel so grateful and blessed that these young children are still going strong,” she said at that time.

The “Boyz” singer finally revealed in a May 18 Instagram that she welcomed her twins.
“So … our beautiful girls decided to come 31 weeks plus 5 days,” she wrote and fetus in the caption for the common post. “Everything happened so fast, but we are so blessed that they are here with us, healthy and fight strong! We have never felt more in love π₯Ή.”
“Everyone, meets Ocean Jade Nelson and Story Monroe Nelson fetus. Born 15.05.2025 ππ,” added the proud parents.
Nelson has shared some updates since then, including another long Instagram Posts where she opened about what it was like to see her children stay in a newborn intensive care unit (NICU) for weeks at the end.
“Nothing or no one will ever be able to prepare you as a parent for Nicu,” she wrote partly on May 25. “It is the most frightening overwhelming feeling of emotions that can’t feel that you can protect your children.”
“But slowly as the days go by and they get stronger and wires start to get away, moments like this feels like a dream,” she continued. “Having them reunited for the first time ever today was the most magical feeling I will never be able to describe π₯Ή The strongest little girls I have ever known that really have the most inspiring story to tell π€.”
