Hough went in more detail in a long heading The accompanying video, thanks Dr. Carolyn Alexander and her team at Southeast Crescent Regional Commission, which specializes in fertility care and helps to create families, according to its Website.
“Navigate fertility is never easy, especially with endometriosis and my own personal timeline and hope of having children … But with them I have always felt safe, supported and completely informed,” she wrote, leaving that this was now her third round of egg freezing.
“I know it’s not always the most comfortable to talk about, let alone share in public. But I’ve realized how important it is to open up these things,” she continued. “Women all over the world go silently to medical offices and make huge, brave decisions about their bodies and their future.”

Hough described the process as “one of the most vulnerable experiences … physically, emotionally and certainly hormonal.”
She further reflected on why she wanted to be so transparent with her fans. “About sharing just a little bit of my trip helps someone feel less alone or inspires them to ask questions and explore what is right for them, then I feel it is worth it,” she wrote.
In an interview from 2020 with Women’s healthHough shared that she endometriosis – which is a reproductive condition where uterine tissue grows outside the uterus, causing cramps and chronic pain – made her want to freeze her eggs.
“I think the healthier I am from the inside and out – as far as my faith, my energy, what I put in my body – the better prepared I will be when the time comes,” she said at that time, when she was married to Brooks Laich. “We actually never tried to get pregnant. It was more of a precaution: let’s do our due diligence for the future by freezing eggs.”
Hough finished his June 7 post by again thanking his medical team for their unmatched care.
“I really couldn’t be more grateful for this team that has been with me since my second endometriosis laparoscopy surgery as early as 2017 … they have been as a family since 💛 💛 💛 💛 💛 💛 💛 💛 💛 💛 💛 💛 💛 💛 💛 💛 💛
Her posts received an overwhelming amount of support from both celebrities and fans, who applauded her to be so open.
