A woman is tired of her husband’s family because she feels they “drain” the couple finances.
In a reddit postwhich was shared on the site’s “am——” forum, the woman, 28, said she recently married her husband, 30, after almost six years together.
Explained that the couple used to run a design consulting business together, the woman said that her role was to make “client (communication), administrator and system” so that her husband “could focus on creative work.”
A few years ago, when their company “financially retrieved,” the woman said it was a proud moment for both, and her husband wanted to support her family, who lives in India, “as soon as the money began to float.”

According to the woman, her husband – who is the oldest of 12 siblings, began, of which several are under 10 – to send a lot of money abroad, which helped their family buy a car and pay off debts.
The Reddit user added that her partner also financed her parent’s wedding and received them land, and he also sends them a monthly payment of $ 1,200.

Now, when her husband’s family reaps the benefits of their hard work, the woman said the couple is fighting.
The Reddit poster, which describes that they rent their home, said she is $ 18,000 in debt, and her husband has since asked her “to contribute more to our own bills.”
While she acknowledged that her husband, as she said, has “a big heart”, the provider is ever since leaving their business, the woman expressed that she does not believe they can maintain his current generosity level.
“I’ve told him before that his early financial gestures put the bar really high, and now expectations are just continuing to grow,” she wrote.
Redotted the woman, “I’m not against helping – but it feels like we always build someone else’s future while our own lives continue to be delayed.”
In the comment section of the post, many felt that the couple was being exploited.
“You finance their rental property dreams while you pay rent, seriously? Tell him straight: either you both come first, or the whole thing falls apart,” wrote a commentator.
Another said: “You absolutely have to pinch this now or make your peace with it. Especially when it comes to paying for the siblings’ higher education and wedding.”

In the meantime, some others considered that if the couple did not raise the issues now, it could possibly affect their marriage.
“This is called economic infidelity,” wrote a person and added, “to me this is as great for a question or worse than physical cheating.”
